~:[CH10 - Day 62]:~ Exhaustion
I sit her exhausted, but it's the best feeling ever. I was used to working long hours, but the feeling I have now is the kind of feeling I got after a nice long day of work. No, it's not great to work long hours, but when it's work that is satisfying, it is great. I bounced from our PD in the morning, to our check in and straight to our mission briefings. As usual, the Permanent Mission to the UN from South Africa blew us away. They always have some of the best and most informative briefings around. The students got all their answers questions in pretty good detail. I headed straight to our team meeting before moving to the meeting with the Permanent Mission to the UN from Japan. While the detailed questions were a bit challenging for someone who specialized in financing, I feel the students still had a great experience. I love the sympathy they had for the speaker as one student changed their question to ask how the speaker's typical day would go and even asked what he had for lunch. It was Shake Shack. Everyone got a laugh out of it. I love how they showed concern for the speaker after rounds of tough questions. It was definitely sad that they didn't get the opportunity to walk into these missions, but overall, I think the experience of meeting with them is still priceless. I am definitely exhausted from the long day, but it's definitely a good feeling to get back into the swing of things.
