inspiration in you i can find

a dozen or more

yet flowers are useless
as they cannot express
the feelings you evoke in me
so deep in my chest
as you're the dot on my "i"s
the cross on my "t"s
on a hot summer day
you're my cool sea breeze
you're as sweet as honey
yet as down-to-earth as they come
since the day i first met you
i thought you could be the one
you're so much and more
yet you don't even know
that you're the source
that allows me to grow
i haven't spoken the words
haven't really given you a sign
yet i know it won't be long
let's just give it some time
so i'll sit back and pray
hoping that one day true love we'll find
hoping on this very day one year
