pitter patter
the rain is a fall'n
people scatter

the shelter is flooded
the sun's in hibernation
it's mudded

water knee deep
rivers flowin' down the street
violently

the light flashes
from up above, the thunder
two warriors clashin'

someone's asking
when's this all gonna end?
it's my understandin'

mother nature's fury
unleashed in an instant
solve it in a hurry

no rain, no rainbows
soon the sun will shine again
when the rain goes

continue on your day
forgetting about your problems
headin' on our way

when the sun disappears, the test of what and how much we can endure takes place and it is in the toughest of times that we discover just how prepared we are for the largest obstacles that we must surmount ahead, for this is but a molehill in comparison to the mountains that await us on our path to greatness.
