~:[CH2 - Day 123]:~ Heatwaves
The timing could not have been worse for such a hot day, as temperatures were up in the mid-to-high 90s and even hotter on the turf where I was stationed all day. However, we had a group of athletes who put int he preparation for such weather and seemed to hang in despite the heat. We had five rise to league champion status, 32 who placed in the top 3 and another 43 who scored helping our team finish 3rd (GV), 1st (GFS), 5th (BV), and 2nd (BFS). It was great to see all the effort put forth out there and while it will be sad to say goodbye to the seniors, it will also be great to see the growth of our new crop of athletes.
