~:[CH9 - Day 200]:~ Beyond the Sunset
The sunset is often used to talk about the end of the day or as the most spectacular moment of the day, but the show just begins when the sun sets. I took a drive out to Joshua Tree to check out the comet Neowise. It's difficult to see when light pollution is an issue, but you can definitely see it when you're in true nature and even better with a telescope or a camera. It's incredible to see so many stars and even more incredible to think about all that is out there. With something hundreds of millions of miles away visible to us here on earth is quite a spectacle! Of course, the sunset rivals this very moment, but seeing a comet is not a opportunity that comes every day. So even when you think all is said and done, keep looking up because you never know when you'll get an extra surprise like the one we got today.
