~:[CH9 - Day 305]:~ Normalcy or Opportunities?
I quickly jetted out to a plaza I used to frequent a lot before the pandemic to quickly pick something up. It was weird to see the changes include the outdoor dining at all the establishments. I guess we have to accept that things will be different. Handing out candy to my cousins has been a normal thing, however, maybe instead of "normalcy" these have now become opportunities. This year, I painted a pumpkin for the first time and they carved one for the first time in awhile. While the normal Halloween trick or treating and festivals were a no go, new opportunities have arisen out of it all. From more time to work and collaborate even to Saturdays at home (maybe too many), there definitely have been some opportunities that I've appreciated although it would be nice to have more normalcy. While it was a variation on how Halloween was celebrated, celebrating it provided at least a little normalcy to the day, even if it was at a distance, it was one day where a mask was not out of the ordinary.
