~:[CH3 - Day 184]:~ The Longest Day Ever
It ended up being over a thirty hour day as with the time change, the 3rd of July never wanted to end. However, it finally did and I got home just before it became the 4th. The morning was a relaxing one, as I got a late check out in order to pack, be able to walk around one final time and just have an easy going morning. I stopped off to get lunch at a Thai cafe as I got a few seafood dishes and ordered a morning glory dish, as it was my sponsor child's favorite vegetable! It was quite delicious. Of course, having iced tea with milk was not the smartest of ideas considering they used real milk and it did not sit with me very well. I was able to get everything in order though before I left for the airport. Since I arrived early, I had some time to kill, did some shopping before getting on my flight. I knew I had to be ready to go when it landed, as I had a tight connection through Hong Kong. With everything going right, I still had to sprint to my gate and barely made the boarding process after running from gate 70 to gate 3. Of course, when boarding it felt so good to know, I would be home soon. I was able to catch four movies on the way back and get some sleep, but I am grateful that I am back home. As while traveling is wonderful, home is truly where my heart is.
