~:[CH7 - Day 126]:~ A Family
It was a hot one. As the sun beamed down on us as we ventured through the Safari Park. On a day that would be a memorable day trip through San Diego, I couldn't help but think about the giraffes. I loved how they grazed together at the tree, reminding me of family. In cross country, we bring it together with ohana, as we have grown to become a family unified together. Within my own family, I thought about all the wonderful memories that we have created together, as we have been such a close-knit group since we were young, celebrating together and sharing in so many amazing moments together. It makes you think how these families begin and how all the factors that fall into place allow for a family to grow and develop, to love one another, to trust one another, and ultimately create these memories that will last a lifetime. It's exciting to think about creating this family and to see all the possibilities that the future holds. Who knows really where our future road will take us, but on this day trip that took me through San Diego, I could only think of that road ahead and the great opportunities that lie ahead.
