~:[CH7 - Day 209]:~ Shoe Trek
While I was overloaded with paperwork and tasks all day today, our team made one of our treks out to Roadrunners to grab some new pairs of shoes for the season. The stack you see is what we didn't get, but our stack of what we ended up getting was about the same height and mixed about the same as this one. Picking the right shoe is always a fun process, as you want to try to find that perfect fit where you hear the angels sing in your head. It took us a bit of time to find what we were looking for, but ultimately, we made it through the process. While it does take a bit of time to go through the process, I think it's a good metaphor for how we find our perfect match in life. Whether it's your career, where you live or you better half, it's a process of trial and error, but once you find that match, you know it immediately. Regardless, by days end, I accomplished a lot and while there still is a lot to do, it feels nice sitting her at the end of the day with my to-do list a lot shorter than it was this morning.
