~:[CH11 - Day 340]:~ Upside Down
We had dance practice after school as the groups began solidifying their dances. It was fun to see the variety of styles we had this year and letting the athletes choose their own choreo is kind of a blessing as they end up showing their creativity and their interests. After practice, I met up with the pole vaulters who were wrapping up practice and things seemed a little upside down. One of the key techniques in pole vault is to be able to get the form correct and not be afraid of going upside down. They worked on it as they took on that challenge. They started much earlier than usual and I know that the extra work and motivation to succeed will bring them great results. For the remainder of the night, I focused in on prepping for the banquet. The next two weeks, as it traditionally is, will be spent focusing on the banquet and my life outside of it will be non-existent. Although I am a bit tired, like my students, I see the light at the end of the tunnel and thus, I keep pushing forward hoping for the break to come soon.
