~:[CH12 - Day 51]:~ Speeding Away
I said goodbye to my friends as I had to head back to get some work done. I knew I would be tired, but made it through the trek home. It's always nice to go for a drive, as you get to think through all the things that life doesn't allow you to. Your mind is clear and you're focused on driving and whatever happens to be on your mind. I enjoyed the beautiful views as I drove home and while most of the traffic frustrated me (especially since it's always in the same spots), one of the jams was in a spot that allowed me to enjoy the beautiful views. I slowly trekked through that stretch without a worry on my mind. I got home and finished up the work I needed to, but overall had a pretty relaxed day. Our days often feel like we're speed through them as our time goes speeding away, thus it's great to find a little time, even if just for a short while, to find your own way and enjoy what you want to. I didn't always give myself undevoted time to myself, but in recent years, I realized more and more that the time I set aside for myself is most valuable when I focus on just letting myself drift away and enjoy my time without any distractions. I hope you all can do the same.
