Is there a formula for finding success? Is there a formula for love? Is there a formula for anything? In school we learn about formulas and the like, but the reality is, to life itself, there is no formula. You can't follow a particular training plan, study plan, or relationship plan, it requires adjustments, adaptation, and compromises. Life is something that we can't follow a formula, even if we are doing the same thing we've done before, the same approach may not always work. To our friends and family, we may always surprise them with the same cake for their birthday, but what if their preferences changed and they just didn't tell you? During training, you face and injury or setback or you surprisingly have a breakthrough, the same training plan may not be the most effective. In all things, even things that are routine, there isn't a formula to success. I often am asked, how did you do it? Even if I told somebody, the way I accomplished something, is not the same way that you'll find success. Our mold for success must be created by ourselves. Sure we can get input from others, but when we try to follow their plan step-by-step, we'll often find ourselves disappointed. Even with something like cooking, we each have different stovetops, pans and even brands of seasoning. I thought of all this because of a recent event in PoGo. There is a particular Pokemon that evolves differently at different types of the day. Even though just based on that, there are four evolutions (including the shiny variant), there still also another evolution that is not so formulaic as it's fairly random and non-formulaic, much like how our lives our. Yes, we can follow the formulas that exist around us on how other people have found success, but ultimately, I hope we all can find our own formula to help find the answer to all that you're trying to find and achieve. Proceed with open eyes, ears and minds, but also make sure that you find the path that has the right formula to help solve the equations in your life.
