~:[CH13 - Day 4]:~ Jason Dreams of Sushi
Eating sashimi in Japan is always a must. The freshest fish, the best cuts and the like lead to some of the best tasting meals you'll have. I was lucky enough to eat at Jiro's son's restaurant back in the day, one of the best dining experiences in my life. Although I am home, it's always nice to eat after a day at the Japanese market. The collection of goodies gathered in a trip will satisfy that craving. With a chaotic run up to the new year, we postponed our new years meals until this week. It was great to finally eat all the goodies I was missing on new year's eve, as we always have a traditional spread of food to ring in the new year. It felt a little strange to have it so late, but still yet, glad to still celebrate over a great meal. As I spent most of the day working on a few upcoming deadlines, I definitely smiled as I enjoyed the delicious food and soaked in one of my last few relaxing days before returning to my hectic lifestyle. I luckily slept in once again today, but even after I woke up, I still felt as if I was in a dream, blessed with all this delicious food. What are the foods that take you to a dream-like state?
