~:[CH13 - Day 19]:~ Milestones
It's amazing when someone can join the rarified air of a milestone that few will ever hit in their careers. It's even better when the person is one of the most kind-hearted people you'll meet. Tonight, one of our athletes hit the 1,000 career point mark and she did it in just over two seasons. Being out last year after leading the girls to the CIF finals game, she came out and produced quality game after quality game. It was a joy to see the team celebrate with her on a day where all the teams found great success at home. While we all chase our own milestones, it's great to also appreciate those who reach theirs. We all are chasing after something and I truly hope that we all make a run at it. Whether or not you reach what you are hoping to attain, going after it is the biggest measure of whether or not we are successful. One day, I hope that you will be celebrating your own milestone, but until then, keep working hard and know that your time will come.
