~:[CH2 - Day 76]:~ Oh, The Places You'll Go!
Dr. Seuss has a special connection with our school in Phyllis Brewer, but I also grew up reading his books and the title of his book Oh, The Places You'll Go fits right into how my life is right now. This weekend, I headed down to San Diego as I spent another night away from my wonderful bed. Why this picture? If you know anything about this tree, it's known as the Dr. Seuss tree (Monterrey Cypress) and it inspired some of the illustrations in Dr. Seuss' books. While there were a number of them before, this is the last one standing. It was great exploring this area, as well as the rest of the cove where the wildlife was buzzing. My stomach was a bit unsettled, but lasted long enough so that I could tour around the area. After a long drive back, I met up with my friends in a St. Patrick's Day get-together, which was quite the festive treat. Double time on that corned beef cabbage, yum!
