~:[CH8 - Day 168]:~ Reconnecting
Sometimes you do something and don't know the impact that it will have. However, years later, I am so glad to have connected. Starting from letters, I've been able to watch her grow and am glad to see be healthy. I am truly Blessed to have her family in my life and am glad that we were able to be able to meet. While it's hard to not to be able to communicate directly, I am glad to have a friend around so selflessly willing to help provide an opportunity such as this. Although we just walked around the sites and shops of Bangkok and finished off with a meal, it was amazing as always to reconnect. While her mom was over 500 miles away, the growth of technology allowed me to talk to her as well. There is not a lot for me to see in Bangkok as I have toured around this place time and time again, however, I am glad that there are people here who make the days interesting and make me want to come back time after time. Sadly, we said our goodbyes, however, in the sadness, there also is the need to be grateful that we were able to reconnect.
