I ended up getting a little time last night to organize myself for a busy Saturday. I needed it more than I realized. After heading off to Huntington Beach fairly seamlessly (not missing a single delegate), we rolled through the day and ended on a great note. We had four students earn best delegates and about a third of the students won awards. While I still had to poke and prod some students to be more assertive, they did fairly well and were impressive. Of course, my day itself was not over. We headed home, I grabbed a boba for energy, then headed out the door for prom. I forgot to eat so luckily there was some food at the dance. I always enjoy capture the moment as when they look back, some of these moments they will look back on and just wonder where all the time went. I was exhausted as I headed home and got on working on the photos. I finished late, but when I was, my body was already telling me to get to bed. As exhausted as I was, it definitely was time well spent even if it meant I had to do a back-to-back.
