~:[CH12 - Day 196]:~ Sometimes, Life's a B*ach
It's not easy to get people on board early in a season, but this year, we had our largest group in some time (if not ever), join us for our Saturday morning run. They woke up early on a Saturday, pushed their limits, and enjoyed some quality time together. Of course, great moments can sometimes be accompanied by a stain, Enjoying the moment, I told one of my athletes to take my insta360 in the water and it got destroyed. I made the mistake thinking that my model was waterproof, when it was not. Previously, I made the opposite mistake, not knowing my first model was. Long story short, my camera got fried because of my mistake. Of course, when you look back at the day, a camera can be replaced, but memories cannot and I can definitely say that this group had a joyous time as they played on the beach today. I'm definitely sad as it was not the best time to take this hit, but at the same time, I still ended the day thinking that life is a beach and nothing less. Maybe today will make my distaste of the beach even greater, but at least good moments like these can try to counter it to make these beach days tolerable.
