~:[CH12 - Day 197]:~ Just in Tune
It's great to see when someone you know is doing something great. After my typical Sunday morning routine, I headed over to the gym to watch Jordan at basketball practice. It was fun to watch them go through the drills, get distracted, and try to refocus again. Mostly, it was great seeing them be silly and enjoy themselves. Afterward, I got some work done before heading out to watch my friend perform with his group. It was quite a trek, but without any traffic, it wasn't too bad. As I sat through the performances, I realized just how famous the performers in the concert were as I just listened and enjoyed the performances. Of course, the highlight was watching my friend and his group enjoy the stage and simply display the results of all their hard work. It's not easy to get to this stage, but when you finally do, I know it must feel amazing as even just watching and enjoying it alongside them makes me happy. I was happy to be able to chat for just a bit before heading home, as I hummed the various songs performed on the long drive home. It definitely was an event I was looking forward to and now that it's over, I am so glad that I made the time to be there for this whole day, as each of these moments harmonized together to make the perfect melody of life.
