~:[CH12 - Day 208]:~ Treasures
We ventured out to La Jolla to take a little time at the beach. Most of the group ventured out on the waters and kayaked near the cover. I'll start with the bad news, we left a treasure at the bottom of the sea (in my underwater camera). The good news is that the day itself ended up being a treasure in itself. We brought back some Mammoth games and while at first they were wondering why they were doing it, they ended up getting into the game. Similarly, later that evening, they were a little slow in warming up at Boomers, however, by night's end, they were trying to squeeze in a few final moments before we left. It's easy to allow the things we lost to bring down our day, but things like that can be replace, while things such as these memories are things that we cannot replace as easily. Yes, there is a treasure at the bottom of the sea that someone will find one day, but it cannot compare to what's now stored at the bottom of my heart.
