~:[CH13 - Day 238]:~ The End of the Tunnel

~:[CH13 - Day 238]:~ The End of the Tunnel

My computer is like a sloth. I click to open a program and five or ten minutes later, it opens. I dreaded the day ahead as I had to work all day on it, but by night's end, I saw light at the end of the tunnel. With Cow Run, District and SF within a week of each other,  the paperwork required has piled up as I've been designing, ordering, planning, and organizing. I stepped out for my normal Sunday break, then continued my hibernation as I worked the day away. I quickly wrapped up the team packets as my computer slowed me down when I was on my final page; I overcame it. I finished up the permission slips, began the trip coordinating as I got excited for the mini adventure; I enjoyed it. I wrapped it up then continued organizing the forty volunteers to help with the 1600+ athletes attending. While I thought we were really short on volunteers, we were able to stretch it out to slot enough to cover; I solved it. I wrapped up the evening with my final tasks as I wrapped up my prep for tomorrow and even designed and ordered the items for my event in a few weeks; I designed it. After thinking I had no chance after a bleak start with my computer, I ended up breezing through my tasks, finishing more than I had planned as I began to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Focus on your tasks at hand and be confident that you'll reach your goals at the end of the tunnel, no matter what challenges come your way.
