~:[CH13 - Day 243]:~ Let's Show Our Spirit
It's always a bit crazy the day before Cow Run. To coordinate the handing of jersey, shirts, marking the course and then packing for the next morning, there definitely is a lot to do. I wrapped up the evening making buttons and Olympic rings to fit the theme. When you commit to something though, you put in all your effort and you do it well. Marking the course was a much easier task because I had a group of people doing just that. They went the extra mile and truly helped ease the burden on my shoulders. Many of them headed to our cross town rivalry game against Gahr, but sadly I had to pass due to the work I had left to do. However, the spirit was high at the game as the team won with an amazing game! It was a day of great performances as earlier in the day, our cheer's yell and song squad had some great performances, while our dance team gave an amazing performance as well. I hope that these students see the importance of the work they put in to what they do and also see that supporting other groups also adds to the joys of their journey. There was a lot of spirit floating around Cerritos today and I am glad that our Dons are setting that gold standard from the very start of the school year.
