~:[CH11 - Day 240]:~ A Change in Direction
I could very well be editing somewhere in the industry had fate not redirected me towards education. How would my life be different had I chosen that path rather than take a chance at what I am doing now? It was a discussion I had as I talked about how Jessica ended up writing music for groups like Enhypen. For those that don't know, this album ended up on the Billboard chart and was #4 on Billboard's World Album chart and #11 on the main one, ranking 13th in current album sales. Strangely enough, I know two people who wrote / produced in this album. It was great to bring up old memories and then talk about what is going on now. However, I think the most impactful was this idea of how we have a general plan in our lives, but how quickly it can get uprooted. While at times it can be a drastic change and create challenges, it can also create opportunities. Both our lives would have been so different without that change of direction and I can assure you, another change of direction will hit us at some point moving forward. Whatever that change is, I am ready and after today, I know she will be as well. I'm looking forward to many more spectacular albums I can promote and many more songs I can listen to that I know were created with so much love and passion from someone I am lucky enough to know. What does the future hold for us all? I know we'll never be able to foresee that, but if we're open for change, I'm sure we'll find greater opportunities than we could have every imagined.
