~:[CH12 - Day 250]:~ Before I Knew It ...
It was less than 12 hours from when I got home from the District Championships to when I left for the airport for Hawaii. The schedule was not ideal, as it was topped off with the fact that we were dealing with a fumigation at home, so I also had to pack up things at home. Between all these things, it was a wild last few weeks, but before I knew it, we arrived at the airport ready to go. When we landed, we started with our traditional Zippy's lunch, checked in, then headed to our hike up to Diamondhead. I didn't know if it would be too chaotic to do so, but in order to fit it in, we inserted it on the first day. The hike itself wasn't too difficult as we did our best to wrap it up before the crater closed. We closed the night at the International Marketplace. We were all exhausted, but were happy to be out there enjoying the beautiful environment of Hawaii less than 24 hours since our district meet. Despite the last few weeks being a little chaotic and the upcoming schedule also being the same way, I'll enjoy these few chaotic days, as at least when I look around, it will be in paradise.
