~:[CH12 - Day 259]:~ Simply Magical

The horse and carriage was the perfect compliment to this year's dance, as we the energy and environment on campus was amazing. It's always a joy to see the students enjoy themselves and soak in their time together, enjoying what is available and if nothing less, just being out together. With a fairytale dream, our campus was transformed into just that as the students could stroll around in a beautiful carriage much like in those fairytales - something normal being transformed into something magical. In life, sometimes we complain when things seem to common and ordinary, which is something I hear from time to time when planning events. However, I also like to remind my students that in our lives, how every moment is perceived is truly based on them. We control how magical an evening can be. Even without all the bells and whistles, we are what determines what our days, our moments and our lives will be like. A life with everything that is extravagant can be miserable, while a simple moment with friends and family, can be the most memorable. We are ultimately the ones who decide whether our moments are plainly ordinary or simply magical. While tonight, there were so many things that made it magical, the true magic was contained in the hearts and minds of everyone attending as the true magic lied within each one of those in attendance. Let's aim to make the ordinary extraordinary by bringing our own magic to our lives to make it simply magical.
