~:[CH6 - Day 226]:~ Lighting the Way
In all the business of life, of getting back on track, of cleaning and getting organized, I've found that my path is lit by the amazing people around me. I've always been one who overcomes the discomfort of extroverted tendencies in order to connect with those around me. To hold a conversation, to spend time together, and to hold an open and honest, casual conversation. The topic will change from person to person, but the reality is that this small moment in time can mean a connection to last a lifetime. I sometimes wondered if I could afford to keep this up, but then I asked myself tonight, could I afford not to keep this up. I may prefer to be in silence, but the silence could be the thing that keeps me from growing. The connections and conversations are the things that I am sure will light the way of my future happiness and success. Much like tonight, a simple meet up became an uplifting moment and an opportunity to get to know those around me even better. There may be only so many minutes in the day, but each of those minutes you have and well-worth being spent on the special people that surround us, as they are the ones who help light the way.
