~:[CH6 - Day 230]:~ The World in Our Hands
The card was showing face up. Once again, the magician played a trip on the mind with misdirection and sleight of hand. The night was a magical one as my friend joined me at the castle after a morning hiking to the Hollywood sign. It was her first day and time in LA and it was nice to show a variety of the city to her. From the hike to the magic, it felt as if the world was in our hands and we hand control and yet, no control at the same time. I guess it makes you wonder, what really can you do in life? Can you take care of yourself? Can your properly make good decisions? Do you ever really have control? I truly am a believe that the world is on our hands and that our decisions will affect the future of this world. I also believe, however, that the world has it's way of working and that we will never really be in control. As my friend stared off into the distance and I watched from afar, I soaked in the views and just prayed that life will lead me down a path that is full of hope and prosperity. Whether, riches or good fortune come my way, it's up for chance, but that's really all I'm asking for, is a chance.
