~:[CH10 - Day 171]:~ To All The Dads ...
Today is a special day for all the fathers out there, but I know most of us appreciate our fathers all year long. Our parents are often our cornerstone and I am grateful to have parents who have done just that for us. I already talked about all the great things about my dad on his birthday a few days ago, so I also wanted to spend today shouting out all the wonderful fathers around me. From my brother and family to my friends and even those who serve as father figures even when not one, you are truly appreciated. Your guidance and leadership, your example and love are all pieces that contribute to the mosaic of those who you are father figures to. I am so lucky to be around so many people and I know that in part their amazingness is in part to their fathers. To the mothers who were also served in that father role, this also goes out to you. As I always say, holidays are wonderful, but I do hope that our appreciations extend beyond this day as we deserve to celebrate each other every day of our lives. To all the dads, thank you for all that you do and to my dad, I love you so much :)
