~:[CH12 - Day 327]:~ Just the Trimmings
My body was a little tired, so I slept in this morning. The past few weeks has been incredibly chaotic and it was nice to not set an alarm and allow myself to wake up naturally. I had a lot of work to do, so I focused in and organized all my files and got everything in order. I typed away and nearly finished the banquet program, started the video conversion process for the video and cleaned up a bit. After watching football, I walked over next door and enjoyed a small and simple dinner with my family. It's nice to have such a simple and unexhausting event where I don't even have to drive to especially when I had a few things to work on. It was nice to chat and just be around my family. Enjoying these moments just being in the same time and space have been even more precious as we all get older. As it may seem as if it was a Thanksgiving with just the trimmings, the spread was incredible, but it also left me so full, of love that is and that's more than any extravagantevent could provide. In just a few hours, I'll be back on the road, but at least for this brief moment, I was glad I was home to enjoy these beautiful moments that the holiday provides.
