another chance

sometimes you really want it to happen

you know that it's the time
yet you cannot get it together
to find the words to say be mine

to pull it all together
to complete the puzzle that you face
act soon and recover
otherwise an opportunity you will waste

wait a minute, just a second
are you saying i only have once chance?
i'm telling you, that you're wrong
even though it may seem so at first glance

as if you've really got something special
it will survive this little mistake
as the truth will persevere
to determine if it's true or truly fake

as while moments like these are special
every day outweighs them all
as piecing together that one special moment
is worth less than the relationship you install

so relax, take a deep breath
this moment is not do or die
as you still have something special
even if tonight may go awry
