royal wedding

i'd hope for a royal wedding
for all the world to see
the most amazing of women
becoming one with me

with galleries of people
media galore
they'd see a union so spectacular
with so much more in store

yet i'd be just as happy
with a simple ceremony
forgetting all the luxuries
as long as you'll be with me

as you are far more precious
more valuable than any royal jewel
as your love makes me feel
like over a kingdom i could rule

our relationship has built a tower
of memories greater than any palace around
as in your eyes, your heart, your soul
is where my crown is found

so while i may imagine
a wedding of the highest class
on second thought, there's no need
on that opportunity i will pass

all i need is you and me
our vows and the ring
as our love will build our empire
of which we'll rule as king and queen
