path

pedals on the ground
fallen from the tree
lining the road ahead
providing a guide for me

like a scene out of a movie
one that all should see
walking light as a feather
ever so gracefully

with no one else a round
a light drizzle scatters on the ground
in its rhythm that it generates
a place where my tranquility is found

a bird comes from the sky
landing on this road i'm on
as it takes the lead, i follow
on this journey it comes along

on this path i see the world
fathoming its size, you have no clue
putting things into perspective
providing a message that is true

the supernatural appears
in a festival for all to join
with my next i find a treasure
shelter from the storm

you simply never know the experiences
that will arrive on a given day
the things you'll see or find
as you journey on your way

all you can do is be prepared
as otherwise you'll pass right by
for the greatest or most amazing
that only you can deny
