~:[CH5 - Day 311]:~ In All The Craziness
Between the craziness of Daylight Savings, Nationals, and sorting a pile of things out, I survived. Today, we normally get TapEx, but it was still closed and so I figured out an alternate plan and it panned out. After collecting papers and payments, doing paperwork, grading and dealing with the exhaustion of an early wake up due to Daylight Savings, I got to relax with my team at the Towne Center. Enjoying boba, writing messages to one another, and just having a great time. It was a light kickoff to an important week, but the only way I'd prefer to do it. With darkness hitting very quickly, we ventured to the weight room and got a little bit more work in before calling it a day. It's funny how a busy day can slow down so quickly. It felt nice and the calmness is what I needed to settle my nerves. With the cold setting in, I used a hot bowl of pho to keep me warm as I watched the Clippers play. I was exhausted by day's end, but it was a good day, everything worked out, and I can sleep with a smile on my face, ready for the craziness of tomorrow to begin.
