~:[CH5 - Day 325]:~ Feast and Famine
Vegas is always quite the interesting place. Really, there is something for everyone if you really search for it and the image it has, is really not the image I would cast on the city. While it's seen as "sin city," I see it as a mecca of food and entertainment. I come every year with my dad and we always find things to do. We slept in a bit before heading for a walk down the strip. We walked all the way down to PH and ate at BURGR by Gordon Ramsay which was pretty good, but know the service wasn't the best (not to the fault of the server). Regardless, we weren't in a hurry and it didn't bother us too much, so all was good. We walked back, took some time to relax, as I was able to get some work done so I don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week. We then headed to Lotus of Siam for some good food. I sadly made a reservation for next Monday (in case anyone wants it), but luckily, we were able to get seated within ten minutes. Pweh. We then headed back to MGM and gambled a bit. It didn't pan out so well, but that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes. We watched the end of the Clippers game in the sports area and while they improved to 13-2, they missed covering by 0.5. Regardless, it didn't spoil our night as we had a full but exciting day. From the food to the shows, this city has a lot to offer everyone and I can't wait to enjoy even more ... the links! Good night Vegas and thank you for filling my stomach with good food, but sad that you emptied my pockets in the process. It was feast and famine here today, but I'll be back tomorrow for revenge.
