~:[CH5 - Day 318]:~ The Countdown
You could sense the uneasiness of the students throughout the day, as the countdown towards break began. All the students could think about was break, but they did have to survive this week first and so do I. I wrapped up my Reformation lecture and went through the first round of presentations for the NGO project. The day itself was full of congratulations, which was pretty cool for the athletes. My introverted self didn't like the attention as much, however, it did feel good to see the athletes glowing throughout the day. During practice, we broke down the race and analyzed what we did well and what needs work and were we could improve. I think it was a good sit down and it will help with our meet breakdown tomorrow. After a good session, most of the boys stayed for weight room, before calling it a day. The team truly has put in the work to get where they are today which made it even more satisfying. It was nice to see them having a good time just before wrapping up, as that is a big part of finding success - bonding as a team. Instead of calling it a night there, I went to visit my friend in Santa Monica. I was tired and it may not have been the best decisions, but it's always worth it for a friend.
