~:[CH13 - Day 64]:~ Let Them Fly

There was some added stress to the day. With the rain on Saturday, we decided to postpone the field events until today. It meant adding a bus, moving athletes from class to the field and trying to get them all to show up. We actually ended up with more people showing up than originally planned. In the end, they all worked hard and I got to see some impressive performances that I may have missed had it been Saturday. It's fun to watch athletes develop, improve and just made adjustments as they go through the season. There is a lot of independence given to them, which sometimes is good and sometimes fails them. Regardless, instead of coddling them, we let them fly. It won't always mean they'll find success, but it will help them learn, even if sometimes, it's the hard way. Here's to the athletes in hopes that they will all fly high.
