~:[CH13 - Day 65]:~ Work in Progress

There was construction going on around my room. I joked around that this looked like Spiderman had visited. Of course, when I thought about what to write today, I was reminded how we are like these buildings and everything else around us. We are works in progress. I know that we strive for perfection and to be the person we want to be, but when we are not where we hope to be, don't be disappointed and don't be discouraged. You are a work in progress and that will always be in the case. Even before you get to where you want to be, you may find something that alters your course and changes who you are. Don't worry about being that perfect image of yourself, just know that you are progress and continuously molding and changing yourself. I think back to a time when I overheard someone say, "you've change." While in many cases, that takes on a negative connotation, in my eyes, it's actually something we are all meant to do - change. Don't be afraid of change. Let's accept that we will be changing and just focus in on making sure to use our opportunities to change for the better.
