~:[CH13 - Day 69]:~ Is Terrible Always Bad?

I definitely felt bad for the group. We started the trip with bad weather. I opened my umbrella and it was broken. The rain only got worse as the night continued, which also meant that the visibility at the Empire State Building would be nil. I thought about rescheduling, but our schedule was already tight, thus we went for it. It was a terrible start to the trip or so we thought. Everyone was miserable as we got to the Empire State Building. We were all soaked and we knew there wasn't much awaiting us atop the building or so we thought. Some of us braved the weather and walked outside. The wind pushed against the door and it was quite a challenge to open. Once outside, the rain pelted my face and the wind nearly blew me away. Still yet, the students screamed and jumped around. Most everyone actually enjoyed the experience as it became a first and quite memorable. We were still miserable as the weather was still terrible, but within that, we found a moment we could celebrate, enjoy and remember. We will face these terrible moments in life where we may be able to find a gem like this. Even if the aftermath is still terrible, just like our wet clothes, we can still momentary celebrate if we look hard enough for a moment we can enjoy, which may come when you least expect it.
