You can be the most accomplished delegate or the most prepared, but you can never be 100% for what's ahead at an MUN conference. There are so many variables anf you have to learn to adjust and adapt. I was so proud of this group for how hard they have worked to get to this point. They have stood out in most of their committees and truly demonstrated their skills and preparation in committee. Of course, one of the toughest things to get selected for is to speak at plenary. It's an honor everyone wants, but only two delegations get to speak. A number of delegates excelled and had an opportunity for this honor, but only these two broke through and were selected to speak tomorrow. I reminded the delegates how they should be proud of all their work and also applauded the selection for these two awesome delegates. Sometimes in life we don't have the control over our fate, still yet, we can work hard in order to give ourself the best chance possible.
