~:[CH13 - Day 71]:~ Winging It

~:[CH13 - Day 71]:~ Winging It

Everyone got to sleep in a bit. My early alarm got snoozed and I slept in a bit longer than planned. It felt nice. Of course, with our 48 cycle, I was definitely a bit tired. We headed to the UN and made a few random stops. We stopped at the Permanent Mission of the ROK to the UN for our delegation and then allowed a few students to stop at Uganda House and Mexico House, Our normal route changed as I got another request for the Permanent Mission of India to the UN and since it was on the way, we made the stop. With another tight schedule due to the late tour because of the CSW conference, we had to rush a bit in order to do everything we wanted. We got to the Natural History Museum, I got lost trying to find the new butterfly exhibit, as I didn't know where it moved. I was winging it, but we eventually found our spot and the student definitely enjoyed the experience. It was fun to watch them desperately try to get a butterfly and one of my students was the butterfly whisperer, even having five on her at one time. We headed home for our study session as we finally had some downtime, as the students could get to their homework. It has been quite exhausting and I'm sure some of them fell asleep tonight, however, I am glad that we made it to the end of another day. While I always liked to have everything laid out, it was a little fun to throw a few curveballs to make this year different than years past. It's great to plan things out, but life is what happens when you just wing it sometimes.
