~:[CH9 - Day 28]:~ Lacing It Up
When you're headed out the door, you lace up your shoes and head off on your way and just as we are about to head out to a conference, we gather together and test our skills. Our senior trip is always a nice intimate gathering and it makes it kind of nice as they are able to connect well with each other. This group zipped through their speeches in their final prep before the trip. It's hard to focus second semester of senior year, but while not perfect, this group out together some decent speeches as they showed up all the skills they gained over the course of their years in the program. While maybe a lot of it was their "improv" abilities that they showed me tonight, I always have faith in this group that they will come through and be ready for the conference ahead. The road ahead should be fun and it looks like our laces are just about ready for us to head on out.
