~:[CH9 - Day 5]:~ Edit Our Lives
When I was editing, I thought, I wonder what it would be like if we could make a film strip of our lives. A movie or just a highlight (or lowlight) film. What would we want to include and what would we cut out? As I pieced together a few videos today for the upcoming week, I continued my trek through the number of files to compile a bunch that I had not seen in years and a few that I just got for a new project. After awhile, the work to do it all is pretty easy since I am keeping it simple to get it all done in a timely manner, but if I was doing a detailed one of my own life, would I spend more time making it look fancy or would I keep it pretty basic? On the last day before we return to classes, I am actually not that sad. For now, I've kept myself in solitude, so I recharged fully and while I may get a little aggravated tomorrow since I'll be around people, I think it will be a nice change of pace from the past two weeks. It's the most productive break I've had in awhile in terms of getting things done at home, but that also means, I left a bit more work for me to finish up at the beginning of the week in other areas. You can't win all the battles. I would love to hear what an edit of your life would focus on!
