~:[CH5 - Day 103]: ~ Surprise?

~:[CH5 - Day 103]: ~ Surprise?
I rolled through the day knowing it would be a crazy one. There was some great parts about it though, with a video being shown and a workday in one class, I also had time to catch up on grading. That's always a plus! Regardless, I still was collecting paperwork during the breaks, reviewing our classes for next year, and trying to get all my lesson plans done for when I am gone. I got two out of three. I did a quick meet up at the office, then set up for our make up meet (throws), before starting up our practice. It was our longest interval workout of the year and I was pretty proud at how the team did. We had a sizable group make it to the end, much like the group that has been up front on long days. I was pretty proud, especially when you are pulling kids to make sure that they are healthy and they try to negotiate their way into the next set, just like this guy above. After practice, we headed to BWW for our distance bonding event and surprised one of our captains. He wasn't the most excited to be put on the spot, but regardless, it was great to celebrate even if he was less than thrilled with the hat that he was given. As a secondary celebration, we stopped at Afters which had its soft opening. A lot of former basketball players work there and it was nice to see familiar faces. As usual, the Jasmine Milk Tea is amazing and while being semi-lactose leaves this experiment as a dangerous one, it was well worth it despite the final aftermath. (TMI?) I spent the rest of the night reviewing my New England trip plan, procrastinating on my packing, and then I finished the night watching my Angels take a come from behind victory! Did I mention that I wrapped up a lot on my to-do list for the banquet? I setup my computer, so now it's time to begin editing! Looks like a trip full of nights of editing. Oh joy! I got this sensation as there is such a good aura around me and while there are things that I am still working on in my life, it's always nice to be surprised with so many blessed that show themselves to you.
