~:[CH5 - Day 98]: ~ Flying High
The weather looked as if it would be troubling early and looking around, there wasn't too much relief in sight. However, the meet must go on and so it did. After surviving through the day with a voice that kept going in and out, it was time for the meet. I grabbed a Yoshinoya and then headed out to setup. The rain kept coming down and delayed the vault and led to the cancellation of the throws. Overall, the meet went well, but our top sprinter cramped up and was out for the meet. It made it a challenge take the meet. We edged out wins in the distances and came back with some good performances in the field. However, the meet would not be decided for the boys varsity, as the throws was still left with no one clinching the victory. We ended up with 2 of 3 with boys varsity still left. We'll see how that ends. Afterward, I got treated out to Wok Holic, which was pretty good as the jajangmyeon was on point and the chicken was so delicious. I definitely want to head back there eventually. With my stomach full and my medicine slowing my down, not even a Pepsi could bring me the energy that I needed, but regardless, it was still a good day. Our meet ended early (except for the vault) and we got out with a minimal amount of rain exposure. I'll take it.
