~:[CH5 - Day 134]: ~ Not So Unlucky
It seems like "Friday the 13th" isn't so unlucky after all. It always seems like these days tend to be good ones and today was no exception. After being able to get a lot of work done at school due to a double late start, I made my way through my classes and got even more work done. By the end of the day, I had finished most everything. I met up with Eileen for lunch at Poke Bar and while the first time I had it, it wasn't too enjoyable, it was much better this time, as I changed what I added into the mix. It was a little disappointing that they ran out of brown rice at the tail end of a lunch rush, but I guess you can't always have everything. After a great conversation, we stopped at Fusion before heading our separate ways. Practice went smoothly as we went over splits and strategies for the race. I cleaned up a bit and put some track and field equipment away, before grabbing my coolers and heading to Costco. I forgot my membership card and my Amex, but still was able to grab what I needed between Costco and Ralph's. I ate dinner at home before heading to the TC to meet up with Mama Grace and later on, JT. I haven't seen Grace in awhile and so it was refreshing to do so. It's funny how long we've known each other and it was definitely nice catching up with her and JT. It never fails that I run into a bunch of people at the TC from Chao to Steven to Pliss and more! Regardless, it was an amazing night filled with all the small things that make life grand. Appreciate it and even when the day is suppose to be bad, know that there is much good awaiting you. Today, it was more than good, it was great.
