~:[CH5 - Day 148]: ~ Not the Happiest Place on Earth
I stepped foot into Disneyland, but it was not the happiest place on Earth. Don't get me wrong, Disneyland is amazing, but the happiest place on earth is definitely where my family, friends, and students are. Today was an extra special day with well wishes all around. It doesn't take much to make you feel amazing and after the many messages and wishes I received and the quality time that I got to spend, I would call it a great day. As my brother played his traditional round of my ice skating videos, my classes were prepping for UCI. It was nice to relax a bit and simply listen to speeches. I grabbed TapEx, then headed to Sweetee Thai, and ended up at Disneyland where I got a beautiful birthday button from Aprille, met up with Kat and her friend, and adventured through both parks. I ended up at Dolphin Bay to grab a meal and I got some time to catch up with Steven and Terry. It was quite nice and while I didn't have a fancy dinner, a night at a club, or anything of that sorts, a nice relaxing conversation was definitely something I enjoyed. I didn't plan much on my big day, but that doesn't mean that the day was a full one and one that I can remember for the rest of my life.
