~:[CH12 - Day 25]:~ The Long Trek Home
Challenge, how do. you get home through the massive amount of snow that fell in the last 12 hours? I have no clue, but somehow, I made it. Luckily we got an early morning transfer to the station since the local one was closed. We then boarded the slowly moving train to the main station and caught the shinkansen so I could make my trek home. Looking back, I am amazed that I made it home and even more so that I got to experience something so amazing. As I gain time coming back to the States, it's great to be able to literally take back time and although it could mean I could get right back to work, I used the day to recover a bit before getting back into the grind. I am not sure if I can make this trek again during this time of the year, however, looking back, I am glad that I made the choice to take this opportunity. My body and mind accepted the much needed rest as the road of recovery should be pretty short after that long trek home. We'll just see in a few days if the rest of myself agrees. What adventure do you hope to take in the next few years?
