~:[CH12 - Day 28]:~ We Escaped
It hasn't been long since I last saw the skies. Just a few days after landing, I was back at the airport with a group of seniors ready to enjoy the week. The seniors were jazzed up despite the early morning wake up required to be at the airport on time. Everything seemed to run quite smoothly as we ventured from check in to flight to transfer and to check in. The students didn't complain much about the walk to the hotel, although they were a bit tired. The newly renovated hotel was a good choice as the location is good. We may have had a bit too much in Chinatown, but still got to relax and not rush as we enjoyed a good meal, some time to browse and shop, and even a sit down with boba to escape the chilly evening. It wasn't cold, but a the same time, just cold enough. There were a few students scared of the escape room we were about to do, but in the end, they weren't as scary as they were challenging. Our groups may not have been the most experienced with escape rooms, however, in the end, three of the four groups passed with the one not passing in a room that only had a 10% pass rate. Our group was able to escape the vault .We lost some time on something we noticed, but didn't figure out and also on another that had a missing piece that would have helped us solve it a bit faster. In the end, we got back to the hotels and the students were tired yet still upbeat by day's end, which is always a good sign. We escaped day one and just hoping that the rest of the week goes the same. How did your day go?
