~:[CH12 - Day 27]:~ What a Treat
I wasn't sure if I would be able to get everything prepped to do this simulation, but I ended up waking up early enough and found what I needed to make it work. Although I like to do it before we cover the French Revolution, timing wise, I had to do it after. I think it still had its impact as the students found the emotion we tried to invoke in them through the simulation. I think it's really important for them to understand, how poorly a group is treated to get them to the point of a revolution and this sim definitely does the trick. I got my lesson plans done, finished up paperwork, headed to practice, then went home to finish packing and prepping. Overall, it definitely was a hectic day, but I truly feel that through the day, while nothing stood out, small things here and there made today special, each being their own treat given to me through the day. Big or small, I've always tried to remember to be thankful for every Blessing.
