~:[CH13 - Day 49]:~ A Walk in the Park
It was a nice day. I didn't have any work to do, so awhile back, I had planned to attend this event since it was close by at the Rose Bowl. Last year they held this event in Las Vegas so it was a relief to have it a bit closer. I like this event because it also allows me to get out and exercise for a bit, walking for miles trying to complete all the task they set out. It may seem a little mindless to those who were outside the gates of the event, but in reality, there is a lot of planning and thinking going on. Some tasks required you to work with others to gather clues, while you also had to time your routes in order to maximize your efficiency. In the end, it wasn't the best day (in terms of catches), but it was still nice to get out, walk around and enjoy a day that was stress-free. To top it off, I even got to hang out with my monkey friend. Life is full of different hobbies and interests and I hope that at least every once in awhile, you forget about the work and responsibilities and truly enjoy what you enjoy doing.
